Advanced Praise for The Nine Inheritors:
While we scholars write serious tomes about the course of Jewish history, wonderfully told stories such as The Nine Inheritors will continue to occupy important places within the overall literature of the Jewish people and will continue to reach people and places not otherwise touched. The Nine Inheritors is a welcome addition to that literature.
Steven Leonard Jacobs, Aaron Aronov Endowed Chair of Judaic Studies

This sweeping narrative pulls the reader from inheritor to inheritor, and does not slow its pace until the revelations at the end.  Meticulously researched and beautifully written, Ms. Datnow's work gifts the reader with the plain joy of good storytelling.
Elizabeth Kohn, attorney

Well-written and imaginative, this entertaining novel also informs and educates the reader about many major events and movements of the last several centuries. In the end, it is the inheritors embrace (or rejection) of their ancient religious and cultural heritage that is the central theme of the book, and seeing this process unfold over the generations takes the reader on a fascinating journey of adventure and discovery.
Gregory S. Aldrete, Professor of History and Humanistic Studies, Univ. of Wisconsin-Green Bay

October, 2011, Media Mint Publishing will release The Adventures of The Sizzling Six: The Living Treasure—the third book in the Young Adult (YA) Eco Mystery series. The author introduces the book with a “live” presentation, priming the reader for the adventure and for exciting innovative technology they are about to experience.

Synopsis: When Sophie and Clara, two determined teenage girls and their dynamic friends, The Sizzling Six, discover an exotic pearl inside a rare freshwater mussel, they find themselves involved in dangerous treasure hunt and a complicated ecological mystery, which they must help to solve. The pearl opens the door to understanding of how this humble and endangered aquatic species plays a vital role in keeping freshwater ecosystems healthy—and compel the girls take action to help protect and restore the mussel population. The pearl also brings them a new appreciation for the true meaning of friendship. Skillfully integrated into the story are video clips of the mussel’s amazing reproductive cycle and videos that heighten the experiences that The Sizzling Six encounter on their adventure.
